I don't know how they compare but I know you can buy bags of ten or more fresh tamales at the Mexican Mercado beside Taqueria La Hacienda on Nolensville Rd. (Beside Phonoluxe.)

I see, Elayne - people who don't like this restaurant are just fat pigs looking to bury their heads in the trough. Got it.

Only been to the one in Asheville, once, but it was pretty great. The fried chicken BLT was as good as it sounds, and the mac & cheese was legit.

The one in Asheville is excellent. Pro tip: the location that is not downtown there takes reservations and is a tad more family friendly than the one downtown.

I've never felt the civic group staffing of concession stands is the best way to go. These folks show up, get a few minutes training, then are tasked with serving 15-17K fans.
