The thing I enjoy the most at the donut shop is the friendliness and of course, the hot free donut you receive each time you come in. The price is really not that much.

Liz gave me a bottle of this and it's wonderful. I made a white winter cake and used some of the bean crushed up, tasted great.

I think this is the most important lede to ever be buried in the history of papers.

But I hate Bellvue as a rule, so this is a serious dilemma.

Catbird was telling the truth about Mariani. The only place he seems to have any credibility is in Esquire and on Bites.

My making-spaghetti-with-a-rolling-pin-and-pizza-cutter experiment was a pain in the ass. A delicious, delicious pain in the ass.

I don't know, something about naming a restaurant a Best Restaurant before it even opens its doors, something about announcing yourself and the entourage you rode in on before you 'review' a restaurant, something about throwing a little hissy fit when you're big fat overblown ego isn't massaged as you think you deserve, something about making yourself the center of the story rather than the restaurant......makes me question his credibility. Maybe those chefs are just afraid of the power of his penis.

It's the damn recession. It's a horrible thing in this country when people have to drive their gas-guzzling, unnecessary SUVs more than a few miles just to get wildly over-priced frozen yogurt or fancy coffee.

@fancycwabs I have a pasta attachment for my mixer and it's still a pain in the ass. That's why I'm a good customer at Lazzaroli.

Yeah, I have grown in to a wheat intolerance (I still small portions) and if I eat too much, I find myself waking up in the middle of the night with intestinal issues, and I have some other symptoms that occur as well. So, when I eat wheat, it better be good, or else I don't waste my time on it.

The Italian Bacon/Cheese dip is amazing but you have to pay for extra flatbread to dip in it. I found myself using my finger to get the last bit out.

M.L. Rose wings are very good. And I have to list off the beaten path, dive-ish bar with volleyball, Wilhagan's off Murfreesboro Rd. for great wings.
