It's still a dirigible, though. That's from the French word "diriger" meaning "to steer" similar to "direct".

(if I can't be a pedantic jackass at PITW, then where I ask can I be one?)

That's exactly what Chris said — the Charlotte route was proposed by detractors of the original route.

Meaning West End was the official proposal but other people suggested Charlotte would be a better location.

Nice try, @templarvivet, but The Fourthof July is perfectly acceptable. In fact, it is listed as such on the state's website that indicates wine and liquor sales restrictions.

Wine in grocery stores is great news except the nearest Kroger is four miles away from me, I don't own a car, my driver's license was suspended, I don't have any friends to give me a ride, I was blacklisted by Uber, I don't think you can purchase alcohol with an EBT card and when I mix booze with my anti psychotic meds I'm even more menacing than usual.

Other than that, good times. DANG.

I was one of the friend testers, and am now a supporter.

Eat these butters; you will not be sorry!

No, it is NOT quite so easy to ignore it, for anyone close to the profession.

What we are seeing is pathology on parade.

...

This is, NOT, *at all*, funny.

NOT, *in the slightest bit*, cute.

What we are witnessing here is a public display of mental illness.

Such individuals, rather than public fora in which to vent themselves, need psychiatric treatment.

But most of them won't find it, or, if they do, won't avail themselves of it....

Dearie dear; if I could delete that now, I surely would.

If one of you who has that ability wishes to, then you're welcome to redact that, and this post as well.

.. (no need at all to add agitation) .!

"the nearest Kroger is four miles away from me"

Actually Revelator, I checked it's less than a mile from where you live. The walk will do you good, not sure about the EBT card though.

Uh, Bill Purcell did NOT grow up in East Nashville. I think he grew up in Pennsylvania.

The last native we have had as mayor was Bill Boner.

Not a surprise. Some folks think if they've been successful in another field, surely they can run a restaurant.

Bolton's with an ear of buttery sweet corn and a sliced tomato.

That's summertime deliciousness.

JR doesn't say Purcell grew up in East Nashville, just that he was a product of East Nashville politics.

I can imagine Purcell's bowel movements with that lunch menu each day. I imagine it all the time, by the way.
