I generally tip a dollar or two per person at the counter, 20%+ if I'm sitting at the bar and getting full service.
Not sure how much to tip at the place that strongly encourages you to GTFO in ten minutes or less after getting your ramen, the way they do it in Japan.

I always tip at least 20% at a fast casual place. Sometimes it makes me feel like a sucker, especially if there's a problem later with my order or it takes forever.

The Dude Abideth aka John Rogers was the dirtiest, smelliest, most psychotic customer I've ever met in my hostess experience. My manager offered The Dude Abideth/Revelator twenty bucks to leave and stop stinking up the place and scaring other customers with his loud, incoherent rambling.

I heard a story about my FIL when he was attending Vanderbilt in 1951. His girlfriend was driving around westend in her Dad's car and picked up my FIL so they could hangout at King's Inn.

Chris, it all starts with the broth:) there's a richness that Otaku cannot come near - I have found this richness is pork, chicken and even vegetarian broths...Please get yourself to a city with some real Ramen! If not LA, NY, or somewhere in Japan there are other options I promise!

Agreed with YummYumm. The noodles are great at Otaku, but the broth lacks the richness and flavor that is so common at other ramen joints in country.

I've had ramen in Chicago, D.C., New York and San Francisco, and I love the broth at Otaku. To me all the Otaku Ramen broths taste refreshingly clean and light, but are still packed with plenty of flavor.
