Soup is one of those things I don't normally order when I go out to eat. I save it for when I'm spending all day cozying up inside.

If you have them add steamed dumplings to thai essane chicken noodle soup it becomes one of the best dishes in Nashville.

Martin's BBQ and Whole Foods also has great chili.

And, Le Sel's French Onion Soup is a great classic reminiscent of Famous Barr's (St Louis) onion soup from the 70's for you Wash U alum.

Yammie, I shared that Proper Bagel was open on Twitter on Wednesday, but my first visit was a total service shit show. (understandably) I'm not enough of a bagel aficionado to judge the NYC-worthiness of their products, but I did like what I tried.
