People should quibble about what an "indy restaurant" uses as ingredients specifically because that indy restaurant pretentiously flaunts its artisanal authenticity on the menu and other media. They created the expections.

And *sometimes* the expectations are in the eye of the beholder. Not all expectations are reasonable, even taking into account creative branding and marketing.

We first stopped into Revelator on our way through Birmingham on a road trip. Simple and clean esthetic and great coffee - we were excited to hear that they would soon be heading to Nashville.

Obviously Susan Quick has some kind of grudge, as well as a highly evident lack of travel.
As she tears apart the food, and mentions "cost cutting" she failed to notice the impeccable art collection which features an original Warhol.

Well it's nice to see the well off people of this city and neighboring counties will have some nice dining options for the holiday. Maybe next year the rest of us will be able to save enough to spend $75 per person for one fucking meal.

"there's probably an option near you no matter what neighborhood you live in"

Ummm, no. No growler fill place in anywhere along Gallatin Rd; none in Madison, Inglewood, Bellshire or Goodlettsville.

The beauty of cooking, Sitting in traffic, is that everyone can do it well if they try. Even hobos by the railroad tracks.

Stop your envious complaining.

The pork loin sandwich is solid - a little fatty, but tastes fantastic. Definitely need to try those ribs very soon.

Yes, casting the American worker as lazy is a marvelous plank in the GOP platform.

Keep up the xenophobia and the misogyny too.
