KC--if you've read my first piece, you know that lunch looked different at the elementary school my daughter attends. I asked about what I saw and though I was told that they are supposed to have the same variety at first period lunch as last, I don't think that's always the case.

I expect a bistro to be loud, the chairs a bit rickety and the music to be assertive. What I don't expect is to pay $42 for a dozen oysters, regardless of their birthplace.

I would take the pancakes, the corned beef hash, and the omelettes at Noshville over their counterparts at Athens any day. But then again, I've only really been to the Bellevue location - maybe breakfast at the original is better?

Admittedly I've never eaten at le sel but I've heard nothing but positive response to the restaurant. As a chef I find this review to be a bit pretentious as Ms Quick seems to find it important to share not only her limited knowledge of food (mostly in parenthesis) but she also finds it important to share her travels and experiences at world class restaurants (per se).

Interesting all the positive comments about LeSel received the dislike button. Cry bullies everywhere..

Anybody who orders a steak medium and claims to be a food critic is a joke. Much mean spiritedness behind this review.

Corned beef hash is something I have once every couple of years.

All this talk of it has inspired me to have some with eggs.

To Noshville!

Just another chef chiming in - I've had two great meals at lel Sel and was excited to find items like foie gras and bone marrow executed so well - up there with the foie gras on my three trips to per se (now you all know I've been there too!). I've also had fat mussels, delicious French fries with garlicky aioli, and extremely flavorful French onion soup.

Good riddance to those Noshville money grubbers. They started off great and then began continually raising prices, reducing portions and cutting corners.

Finally, an honest review. This place, along with other Strategic places, is all hype and no follow up.

Just stumbled upon your post, began researching it, after i tried it for a few weeks - when i began to see changes in random things: - 50% reduction in spider veins / 70% reduction in jaw line acne which i have tried every thing to fix / clean white teeth / great breath / and amazingly enough, a 50% reduction in FAcial pigmentation. I was only trying it for Acne.........

Obviously Susan Quick has some kind of grudge, as well as a highly evident lack of travel.
As she tears apart the food, and mentions "cost cutting" she failed to notice the impeccable art collection which features an original Warhol.
