Ummmm....the list loses all credibility by listing any of those places here while failing to include City House.

Not including City House is nothing. Cities like Houston, Austin and DC are completely underrepresented compared to Nashville.

    I'm an ale fan, myself.

I was in a local restaurant in the afternoon when LH came through for a tasting. I was lucky enough / inquisitive enough to be allowed to join in the tasting.

SO much flavor -- I said to dude, "so these are *lagers*"???

He said yeah, but they did spend a lot of time in the tank....

Great hybrid for me. Love their stuff, what I've tried of it; don't remember what it was that day.

I would put 10 NOLA restaurants in the top 10 and then put those above in the 2nd 10.

This particular copy of the list is arranged by city, not hierarchically. The slideshow on the SL site doesn't mention that they are listed from best to worst or vice-versa, so I don't think that they are doing anything more than naming a Top 30.

Puckett's Grocery & Restaurant should buy it, they would be a owner that fits the area and would probably increase the benefit to the community.

"Not including City House is nothing"? What could you possibly mean by that?

This sounds like the landlords have given the renter Dan Smith over five years to pay the rent owed or make other arrangements. I bet my bank wouldn't let me slide in my mortgage that long.

My point YY, (and thanks to Mr. Chamberlain for pointing out what should probably have been obvious to me) was that, as great as City House is, there are restaurants in New Orleans, DC and Texas that are easily it's equal.

Chris, I think the confusion stems from the fact that the post seems to imply that the list is ranked ("...including the No. 1 restaurant, Husk..."). Even outside any actual rank order, I'm not sure how reliable I find this, based both on Nashville selections and those from other cities (is Launderette really the top/only restaurant in Austin worthy of inclusion?).
