¡ Pura vida ! By far the freshest juice in Nashvillle and the best costumer service this peeps are on point and they don't alter the ingredients to give your juice " twist " like other stablishments do .... You get the same juice over and over again :)

I've seen plenty of trusses that aren't railroad-related. I think it's funny that the idea of the truss is so romanticized in the engineer's mind.

It's good and right to throw stones in the way of change but if there's a nickel to be made, instead of Dan, those folks will have a slack jawed, pimply teenager in a uniform responding to them with a "huh?" soon enough. 7/11, mapco, whatever, and they don't sell real tomatoes.

Whatever rent arrearage Dan has, you can bet that is not the issue. If it were, Haury & Smith would have acted long ago.

Those t-shirts are awesome. Some of my favorite childhood memories involve hanging out on the Harpeth River in Bellevue or Williamson County and flying off rope swings we made ourselves.

Not taking either side, but @BrianMoore don't you think maybe Haury & Smith didn't take issue with the arrearage for so long precisely because they thought there could be this kind of community blow-back? It wouldn't be that hard to anticipate.

I agree with Brian - the rent is not the issue. There have to be some interpersonal issues here that have gone on for years.

I grew up on Granny White and the Purple Cow run by Mr Whitmore in a barn on blocks with stairs up to front porch. Then it was located closer to corner of Otter Creek.

The landlord has the right to do what he wants with his property. I am a landlord too, but I try to work with my tenants if they get behind, but I too don't really think it's about the money that may be owed to the landlord.

It's a shame that Granny White Market maybe taken over by a corporate company. If it is Daily's, it's real easy for them to pay high rent.

Unfortunately, even if the community came up the $ owed & even promised to pay a monthly fee, it won't be as much as I'm the new deal is.
Also unfortunate, the lack of business will cause the new tenant to vacate & probably in 5 to 7 years from now, there will be 1 or 2 mini-Mc-mansions & all will be for naught.
How much could the fixed cost of the property be to H&S? Property taxes?
Nope. Even w/ a MBA in Fin, I readily admit there is more to life & community than profits: there's family.

Pretty wide definition of the South. Would not have included offerings from Baltimore, Washington, or St. Louis, personally.

@pogo frankly I would add Texas to that list of not southern states. It's the wild west.

That mean old landlord! Why he's trying to make this tenant pay rent - outrage!

A few months ago, I was having wine with a friend at an East Nashville restaurant. My friend is a vendor of a specific type of food to quite a few restaurants in town including the one where we were that night.
