Probably not what you were going for, but I enjoyed many free meals while traveling for work in my previous life as a mid-level corporate cog. Nothing better than dining on the company dime when you're in NYC or Vegas.

I have to say the most memorable free item I've ever gotten was at Carrabba's in Green Hills.

Start working at home with Google! It's by-far the best job I've had.

Hahahahaha thanks for the laugh. This is the biggest load of crap I have ever seen because not only does Coconut Oil soothe my Eczema, and I've tried everything on the market.

So many unimaginative commenters. Leslie, I agree it seems a waste to spit it out so I swallow.

Thanksgiving dinner at Finns Beachside Pub in Flagler Beach FL is the bomb...if you are lonely on turkey day and spend a great day at the beach and so thankful you are away from the horrible (sometimes) BNA weather....go to Finn's versus trying to find something open on thanksgiving

I went to F. Scott's once and got a plate of sweet potato fries with a drink at the bar. A guy and his girlfriend sit beside me, and the guy asks me if I liked the fries.

This cat is one of the very few reasons that I can enjoy my time in this state. I'd go but I'm too busy using the skills he has shared with me through his books and workshops.

When my wife was pregnant with our first child, we stopped in Bro's when he was on Murphy Rd. Darrell came over to visit and ask about the baby. We were already a week over due and had set a date to induce if it went much longer.

We stopped by Dozen Bakery in Wedgewood-Houston on Saturday to get a big box of assorted cookies and pastries as a gift for my boyfriend's family. The girl behind the counter said that she accidentally smashed the Black and Tan while assembling the box so she gave us an extra one for free.

How is this an ATM? Do you have to pre-purchase cupcakes and they hold a balance for you?

No! It's literally a walk up machine. Like an updated vending machine that's refrigerated!

Not a huge fan of Sprinkles cupcakes but I am a huge fan of silly gimmicks (and 24 hour sweets) so I will probably check this out at some point.

Kinda sad actually, hopefully someone can devise a system whereby we can get better food into the kids in a more uniform fashion with less waste. Maybe the kids can learn a little something along the way instead of what we currently have in place.

Lunch has been fraught all along for my high schooler. SHe couldn't identify food, she didn't see anything she wanted, and she often just took what they gave her and didn't eat it.

My son goes to a MNPS magnet high school. He brings his lunch and a water bottle daily because of the long lines and short time allotted for lunch.

Nicki--Thing is, her experience was VERY similar to mine except that we had lunch ladies plating our food for us. You'd think that a serve-yourself line would speed things up, but it doesn't seem to, particularly for little kids.
