The half chicken dinner at Tacos Y Marisco Lopez on Murfreesboro Pike can't be beat. For $7.68, you get the most delicious chicken on the planet, beans, rice, grilled onion, pico, and tortillas.

Congrats! Now if we could get the same in the Lower Antioch/North Rutherford area I would be much happier...

Whoop! As another 30-something Donelson resident sans children, I'm super pumped about this place!

Good stuff. I love Donelson, been here for over 10 years, but it's been a craft beer desert.

Peg Leg; their sandwich (not combo) comes piled high with pork and slaw. $6.

Baja Burrito: small burrito fully loaded (including guacamole) comes in around $8 and is enough for 2 meals.

We like Calypso, too, but our go-to now that we are on the south side is Murff's. Sundays have happy hour all day ($3 from the tap!)

It has been a year since my last post and 3 years since L&L took our equipment and we are still getting the run around. 3 years later and we have not been paid for our equipment.

Las Americas - a taco, a pupusa and a beer is around $10
El Tapatio - A whole chicken (plus beans, rice, tortillas and pico) is enough for 4-5 dinners and is $12. Or a chicken quesadilla is easily two meals and is under $10.
Dozen Bakery - salads are $3 each and very generously portioned.

Note - Tacos Y Marisco Lopez is now called El Amigo and that chicken dinner is amazing.

I tried First Watch for the first time. They're the people who bought Bread and Company.

It was adequate, not blown away by their omelette.

Start working at home with Google! It's by-far the best job I've had.
