@Hudson, do you even know what Make a Wish is? It is a charity that fills the dreams and wishes of some very sick children. It's not a government agency that disperses funds to areas of town for improvements or anything even remotely related to that.

BW--clearly, I should have included the boilerplate about Make-A-Wish and what they do. Thanks you for including that information.

@Leslie Eats, I would have assumed everyone knew what Make a Wish does, too, but apparently there's at least one person that didn't have a clue. My comments were certainly not directed at your post.

wish you'd chosen a less vulgar and sophomoric name for your sandwich. might work as a name for a running club, but not a sandwich and clearly not our beautiful neighborhood.

I don't know the origin of the name, but keep in mind that this sandwich was originally served from a truck and difficult to eat without getting your hands and possibly your shirt kinda nasty. So if it's that offensive to you, you can think about that but you're missing out if you don't want one because of the name.

Curious about the use of Ramazzotti instead of Campari in these drinks. I could understand it better if paired with Punt e Mes due to its' bitter profile, but paired with Vya?

I suggest dropping in to ask them, Pogo, but I imagine that the specific choices for these sort of tasting events include some element of what products the stores and distributors want to push. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Ryan B. I'm just truly sick and tired of having the name of an East Nashville running club glibly tagged to where I live. We don't call it that.
