Wow, if you write a negative piece on something you haven't even used on a regular basis , how do you expect anything you write to be taken seriously? Olive oil has been used in skin and hair preparations and I don't hear you complaining of a terrible waste of food. What an ignorant article.

You have to briefly grill the inside pieces of the bread, before you assemble the sandwich and grill on both of the "outsides." The grilled inside add extra overall crispness and also aids with melting the cheese.

Love this! I use this pan, a sandwich-size cast iron: Lodge L5WS3 Pre-Seasoned Cast-Iron Wonder Skillet, 5-inch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000809QN4/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_-BZBvb0KXVD5F

I melt the butter first for one side, then use olive oil on the other side, a Kraft single in the middle.

I've gotta go with Swett's, which no one will find overrated. And I have to defend the ol' Pancake Pantry: Their pancakes are, IMHO, much better than IHOP, and although the waitresses may have a rep I've never had anything but lovely service there.

Not for nothing, but I think the reason he is on his own, again, is his extreme antagonistic personality. The guy is a dick.

Spumoni or Mint Chocolate Chip are my favorites, but Space Jam sounds fantastic!

My stand-by is vanilla, but I mix it up quite a bit. Most unique/craveable (though I haven't had it in a few years): Grape Nuts.

I'm not out late very often like I used to be, but I noticed recently that 312 Pizza in Germantown has a late night/bar menu; 2 for 1 beers between 10-12 Friday and Saturdays. Jackson's in the Village is reliable for food especially when getting out of a movie late (after 10) at the Belcourt.

Tenn Sixteen offers a late night civilized meal, also on the east side Drifters serves until midnight and Five Points Pizza serves late as well.

I'm more of an Athens/Hermitage Cafe/Waffle House guy for late night, but I did notice that Butchertown Hall is open until midnight Fri/Sat while ML Rose serves food until 1AM...
